Mount Meru features multiple distinct climate zones as you ascend. On the lower slopes of the mountain and inside the park, there is a good chance of spotting wildlife. The trail follows the north rim of the crater, along a dramatic ridgeline. Once you reach the summit, you will see incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Meru crater itself.

During the hike, accommodations are in mountain huts along the hiking trail. Comfortable lodge accommodations will be included on the night after your hike.

A Mount Meru hike is an ideal add-on to Wildlife Safaris in Tanzania, especially to the famous Northern Tanzanian Safari Circuit.
